Hey y'all! My name is Joanna Anil and I'm from Dallas, Texas. I am a senior at Rice University in Houston, TX pursuing a B.A. in Cognitive Sciences + Business Management. 

I believe there is always something you can learn from every person you encounter, which is what draws me to product design. You're only as powerful as your next question. I always admire genuine curiosity in others.

Every person has a story, and as a designer, you have the privilege of weaving these stories together in a tangible way. Being able to play a role in bringing someone' vision to life is beautiful.

A part from design, I love flowers, music, and exploring. I started a flower shop, Owl Blooms, with my best friend at Rice! I enjoy all things music from creating to performance. Inspiration drives the world, and I love being able to build music from inspiration. We are all just wonderful mosaics of the people we have encountered along the journey of life.
